  • www.cdc.gov/az.do - provides an alphabetical listing of hundreds of health-related topics. This site combines information for lay persons and for health professionals.
  • www.guideline.gov - provides objective, detailed, and evidence-based guidelines on hundreds of health-related topics. This site is by the National Guideline Clearinghouse.
  • http://medlineplus.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/medlineplus.html - contains health information, including a dictionary and an encyclopedia, from the National Library of Medicine; directed primarily at lay persons.
